Astec reports Q3 net loss of $12.2M and cuts full-year Adjusted EBITDA guidance to $140-$150M
ASTEAstec Industries Inc
Astec Industries reported a third-quarter net loss attributable to controlling interest of $12.2 million, or $(0.53) per diluted share, compared to a $4.2 million loss in the prior-year period. Net sales increased 0.7% to $352.4 million, driven by a 4.1% rise in Materials Solutions that partially offset a 2.2% decline in Infrastructure Solutions. The company revised its full-year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA guidance downward from the previous range of $160 million to $175 million to $140 million to $150 million, citing macroeconomic uncertainty and inflationary headwinds that caused a temporary pause in orders. Despite lower margins, backlog grew 49.2% to $670.5 million, reflecting underlying demand rebound. Astec Industries manufactures specialized equipment for asphalt road building, aggregate processing, and concrete production.
