Atmos Energy Corporation announced that James H. Jeffries IV has been elected to its Board of Directors, effective September 1, 2026, with his term expiring at the 2027 annual meeting. Mr. Jeffries, a partner at McGuire Woods LLP retiring August 31, 2026, will receive 1,000 share units upon separation from service. Additionally, Senior Vice President John S. McDill announced his retirement in early 2027 after serving since 2002 and assuming his current role in October 2021. The Board appointed Jeff D. Martinez as the new Senior Vice President of Utility Operations, effective October 1, 2026. Mr. Martinez, previously President of the Mid-Tex Division, will report to CEO Kevin Akers and receive a base salary increase from $380,000 to $500,000. Atmos Energy Corporation operates in the natural gas utility industry, distributing natural gas to approximately 3.4 million customers across eight states.
