ArriVent BioPharma doses first patient in Phase 1 trial of ADC ARR-002 for ovarian and endometrial cancer
AVBPArriVent BioPharma, Inc.
ArriVent BioPharma announced it has dosed the first patient in a U.S. Phase 1 clinical trial for ARR-002, a potential first-in-class MUC16/NaPi2b dual-target tetravalent antibody-drug conjugate designed to treat ovarian and endometrial cancer. The company noted that both targets are highly over-expressed in these cancers, with the dual-targeting approach intended to overcome limitations of single-target ADCs regarding heterogeneous target expression. ARR-002 is ArriVent's second ADC to enter clinical testing, expanding its pipeline beyond lung and gastrointestinal cancers. In August 2026, ArriVent licensed ARR-002 in Greater China to Shanghai Allist Pharmaceuticals while retaining rights elsewhere. The Phase 1 trial aims to evaluate the safety, tolerability, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics of the drug in patients with advanced or metastatic disease. ArriVent BioPharma is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative cancer therapeutics.
