BCB Bancorp reported a net loss attributable to common stockholders of $132.5 million, or ($6.92) per diluted share, for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared to a net loss of $14.8 million in the prior quarter and net income of $3.8 million in the same period last year. The results were primarily driven by a $115.0 million provision for credit losses and a $59.9 million non-cash charge establishing a full valuation allowance against deferred tax assets. Net charge-offs totaled $89.7 million, reflecting the sale of $204.3 million in problem loans and transfers to held-for-sale status. The company also completed an underwritten public offering that raised $98.0 million in equity capital. Additionally, BCB Bancorp announced a C-suite reorganization, including the appointment of Ryan Blake as Chief Banking Officer and Eleni Willis as Chief Risk Officer. BCB Bancorp is the holding company for BCB Community Bank, which provides retail and commercial banking services.
