Banco Santander reported an underlying attributable profit of €3.8 billion for the third quarter of 2026, a 19% increase year-over-year in constant euros. For the first nine months, underlying profit reached €11.2 billion, up 14%. The bank achieved an efficiency ratio of 42.6%, down 2.8 percentage points, and maintained a CET1 ratio of 12.7%. Attributable profit for the period was €12.4 billion, supported by revenue growth across all global businesses and disciplined cost management.
