Brookdale Senior Living Inc. reported its September 2026 occupancy figures, with weighted average consolidated occupancy reaching 83.4% at month-end and 83.1% for the quarter. This represents a 130 basis point increase from the third quarter of 2025 and a sequential improvement of 70 basis points over the second quarter. Same community metrics also improved, with weighted average occupancy rising to 83.8%. The company stated that its performance outpaced stabilized market results reported by the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care. Brookdale Senior Living Inc. operates independent living, assisted living, memory care, and continuing care retirement communities across the United States.
