The company entered a definitive agreement to acquire GeoPura Limited for £275 million in upfront consideration, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. This transaction aims to establish Ballard as an energy-as-a-service provider by combining its fuel cell technology with GeoPura's leasing model. Order intake reached $64 million, strengthening the backlog to $157 million. Cash and cash equivalents stood at $502 million.
