Builders FirstSource appointed Mike Hiller, currently Chief Talent Officer, as Chief Operating Officer-Designate on May 18, 2026, with the role becoming effective December 31, 2026. The company disclosed Hiller's compensation package, which includes a $675,000 annual base salary starting January 1, 2027, a target bonus of 125% of salary, and a $700,000 grant of time-based restricted stock units vesting over three years. Outgoing COO Steve Herron will transition to Special Advisor reporting to the CEO from January 1 through March 31, 2027, receiving a monthly fee of $20,833.34 and accelerated vesting on his equity awards. Builders FirstSource is a leading supplier of building materials and services to home builders in the United States.
