Ascendis Pharma to pay royalties up to 20% on U.S. sales under license for TransCon CNP from BioMarin

BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. entered into a Settlement and License Agreement with Ascendis Pharma A/S on September 24, 2026, superseding a prior term sheet effective August 28, 2026. BioMarin granted Ascendis a non-exclusive, worldwide license to develop and commercialize TransCon CNP (navepegritide) for indications including achondroplasia and hypochondroplasia. In exchange, Ascendis will pay royalties of 20% on U.S. net sales and 18% on net sales in the European Union, Brazil, and South Korea until May 2030.
