British American Tobacco appoints Bruce Sewell as independent Non-Executive Director effective January 1, 2027

British American Tobacco p.l.c. announced that Bruce Sewell will join its Board of Directors as an independent Non-Executive Director on January 1, 2027. He will serve on the Audit and Nominations Committees. Sewell previously served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Apple Inc. from 2009 to 2018, covering legal, compliance, ethics, and government relations. The company also announced committee composition changes effective November 30, 2026: Véronique Laury will move from the Audit Committee to the Remuneration Committee, while Serpil Timuray will move from the Remuneration Committee to the Audit Committee.
