Compañía Cervecerías Unidas reported second quarter 2026 results ending June 30, 2026. Consolidated net sales increased 4.8% to CLP 607,801 million, driven by a 6.4% rise in average prices that offset a 1.5% decline in volumes. EBITDA surged 59.4% to CLP 31,591 million with an expanded margin of 5.2%, while net income recorded a loss of CLP 20,712 million compared to a CLP 11,218 million loss in the prior year period. The deterioration in net income was primarily attributable to a non-recurrent impairment loss of CLP 6,068 million related to Bolivia and lower tax benefits from Argentina. In Chile, volumes grew 2.5% and EBITDA rose 26.2%, whereas the International Business segment saw a 7.4% volume contraction due to challenges in Argentina and Bolivia. The Wine segment experienced a 13.7% volume decline and a 61.9% drop in EBITDA. Additionally, CCU acquired Nestlé Chile’s remaining 49.9% stake in Aguas CCU-Nestlé Chile S.A., achieving full ownership of the subsidiary. The company operates in the multi-category beverage industry, producing beer, soft drinks, water, wine, and spirits across South America.
