Choice Hotels International appointed Dominic E. Dragisich as President and CEO and to the Board of Directors, effective August 31, 2026. He succeeds Patrick S. Pacious, who resigned from both roles on that date after serving as Interim CEO since May 20, 2026. Dragisich’s compensation includes a $1,000,000 base salary, a target short-term incentive of 150% of base salary, and long-term equity awards valued at least at $4,000,000 plus a one-time grant worth $1,000,000. The company also executed an amended severance agreement providing for lump-sum payments up to 250% of salary and bonus in the event of a Change in Control termination. Choice Hotels International is a global lodging franchisor operating over 7,500 hotels across 49 countries.
