On September 3, 2026, Climb Bio announced positive initial data from its Phase 1 trial of CLYM116, an anti-APRIL monoclonal antibody for IgA nephropathy. The study enrolled 46 healthy volunteers and demonstrated a ~29-day half-life, >90% free APRIL suppression, and 60-75% suppression of IgA and Gd-IgA1 following a single 320 mg dose. CLYM116 was generally well-tolerated with no serious adverse events or hypogammaglobulinemia. The company plans to initiate a Phase 3 registrational study in 2027, pending initial data from the ongoing NAVIGATE-2 Phase 2 trial expected in H1 2027. Climb Bio is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing therapeutics for immune-mediated diseases.
