CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp. has entered into an agreement to sell Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio, LLC to National Fuel Gas Company for a total purchase price of $2.62 billion. The consideration consists of $1.42 billion in cash at closing and a $1.2 billion seller promissory note bearing a 6.5% annual interest rate. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
