Coronado Global Resources Inc. announced significant leadership changes effective August 1, 2026. Barend (Barrie) J. van der Merwe, currently Chief Financial Officer, was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Board. Consequently, Garold Spindler will resign as Interim CEO on July 31, 2026, to serve as a non-executive director. Sandeep Deoji, current Vice President of Group Financial Control, was appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer. The Board also increased its size from six to seven directors. Coronado Global Resources Inc. is a coal mining company.
