Data I/O appoints Douglas Adams as SVP Global Services to lead Programming-as-a-Service expansion
DAIOData I/O Corp
Data I/O Corporation appointed Douglas Adams as Senior Vice President of Global Services, Support and Quality. The hire reunites Adams with CEO Bill Wentworth and VP Monty Reagan, the leadership team that previously built Source Electronics into the world's largest independent device programming services business. This appointment supports Data I/O's strategy to expand its Programming-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings following the recent acquisition of V-TEK, Inc. and A&J Programming, Inc., which is expected to double revenue and diversify the customer base beyond automotive into data centers, AI, and defense markets. Data I/O Corporation provides data programming equipment, provisioning services, and security solutions for microcontrollers and memory devices.
