Diageo shareholders approve final dividend and elect Sir Dave Lewis to board

At its Annual General Meeting on November 5, 2026, Diageo plc shareholders approved all resolutions, including the declaration of a final dividend for the 2026 fiscal year. The meeting also resulted in the appointment of Sir Dave Lewis and R. Alexandra Keith as directors, alongside the re-appointment of Melissa Bethell, Karen Blackett, Julie Brown, Valérie Chapoulaud-Floquet, Nik Jhangiani, Susan Kilsby, Sir John Manzoni, John Rishton, and Ireena Vittal. Additionally, shareholders authorized political donations, allotment of shares with disapplication of pre-emption rights, share purchase authority, adoption of new articles of association, and reduced notice for general meetings.
