Total net revenues decreased 6.9% year-over-year to RMB981.1 million (US$144.6 million), driven by a 13.0% decline in livestreaming revenues to RMB503.0 million amid weaker consumer spending and fewer paying users. Gross profit rose 12.0% to RMB159.0 million, with gross margin expanding to 16.2%. The company reported an operating loss of RMB21.3 million and a net loss of RMB72.4 million (US$10.7 million), compared to net income of RMB37.8 million in the prior year period. Adjusted net loss was RMB13.5 million, versus adjusted net income of RMB25.3 million previously. DouYu operates as a leading game-centric live streaming platform and eSports value chain participant in China.
