DTE Energy raises 2026 operating EPS guidance to $7.59-$7.73, plans $3B sale of Vantage
DTBDte Energy Co
DTE Energy raised its 2026 operating earnings per share (EPS) guidance to a range of $7.59 to $7.73, up from the previous midpoint, driven by strong non-utility performance and data center load growth. The company announced plans to sell DTE Vantage for approximately $3 billion to institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management, with the transaction expected to close in the first half of 2027. Proceeds will fund a revised $44 billion five-year capital investment plan focused on utility infrastructure and cleaner generation. The company also updated its long-term growth profile, targeting greater than 9% operating EPS compound annual growth rate through 2031. DTE Energy operates regulated electric and natural gas utilities in Michigan.
