Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC filed a Comprehensive Revenue Requirement Settlement with the North Carolina Utilities Commission to resolve its rate case. The settlement includes a 9.8% return on equity, a $25.7 billion retail rate base, and approximately $3.8 billion in capital for a multi-year rate plan. The stipulations are expected to result in one-time pre-tax accounting charges of approximately $40 million in 2026. Duke Energy is an electric utility company providing energy services.
