Electronic Arts Inc. completed its merger with Oak-Eagle AcquireCo, Inc., a subsidiary of an investor consortium comprising The Public Investment Fund, Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners, on August 4, 2026. Shareholders received $210 per share in cash for their common stock, resulting in total consideration of approximately $55 billion. The consortium funded the acquisition through new debt facilities, including $9.375 billion in term loans and $6.455 billion in senior notes, alongside equity contributions. Concurrently, existing directors resigned, and Parent entered into new credit agreements while terminating EA's prior revolving credit facility.
