Ellomay Solar gets grid permit for 22.2 MW / 100.3 MWh battery storage facility in Spain

Ellomay Capital Ltd.'s Spanish subsidiary, Ellomay Solar S.L., received a grid access and connection permit for a 22.2 MW / 100.3 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) facility in Talaván, Spain. The permit also allows charging 22.2 MW of electricity from the grid to enhance project flexibility and profitability. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2027 with completion expected by the fourth quarter of 2027. This milestone supports Ellomay's strategy to expand battery storage capabilities in markets like Spain and Italy.
