Eos Energy Enterprises received an $87 million advance under its U.S. Department of Energy loan facility on September 10, 2026. This funding reimburses 80% of eligible costs for the company's Thorn Hill manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania and brings total draws to approximately $178 million since 2024. The capital supports the ramp-up of Line 2, which entered commercial production in June 2026 and targets an annual capacity of 2 GWh. Upon completion of planned operations, the facility is expected to support 4 GWh of annual battery manufacturing capacity across two lines. Eos Energy Enterprises designs, manufactures, and provides zinc-based long-duration energy storage systems.
