Evotec appoints Dr. Joanna Holbrook as Chief Scientific Officer and Management Board member

Evotec SE announced the appointment of Dr. Joanna Holbrook as its new Chief Scientific Officer and a Member of the Management Board, effective November 1, 2026. Dr. Holbrook brings over 25 years of experience in pharma, biotechnology, and academia, most recently serving as Therapy Area Head for Cardiovascular, Renal and Hepatic Disease at Novo Nordisk. She will lead Evotec’s global scientific strategy and drive differentiation across its discovery and development services. The filing also includes a notification from the Government of Abu Dhabi regarding major holdings in the company.
