Ferrovial-led consortium selected to deliver Georgia’s I-285 East Express Lanes, valued at $8.9 billion

FERFerrovial N.V.

The Georgia Department of Transportation has selected the Ferrovial-led Top End Mobility Group consortium to finance, design, build, operate, and maintain Phase 1 of the I-285 East Express Lanes project in Greater Atlanta. The long-term public-private partnership carries an expected construction value of $8.9 billion and includes approximately 21 miles of new express lanes connecting major highways. GDOT will also collaborate exclusively with the consortium to advance remaining phases, which would ultimately provide 37.5 miles of new express lanes in each direction across Fulton and DeKalb counties. Ferrovial is a leading global infrastructure company transforming highways, airports, and energy around the world.
