Ferrovial N.V. announced changes to its Board of Directors on July 28, 2026. Mr. José Fernando Sánchez-Junco resigned as an Independent Non-Executive Director after 17 years of service, having previously served as Lead Director and chairing the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The Board appointed Mr. Sanjay E. Sarma as a new Independent Non-Executive Director to fill the vacancy. Mr. Sarma brings extensive experience in technology, innovation, and digital transformation, with a background as a professor at MIT and founder of MIT Auto-ID Labs. His appointment is subject to approval at the next Shareholders Meeting. Ferrovial N.V. operates in the infrastructure and transportation sector, managing and developing roads, airports, and other public utilities.
