Fervo Energy announced that its Cape Station facility in Utah achieved commercial operation on September 30, 2026, one day ahead of schedule. The first GeoBlock synchronized to the grid on September 24 and is now generating revenue under a power purchase agreement with 33 MW of net power production. Phase I comprises approximately 100 MW across three 33-megawatt GeoBlocks, with the remaining two expected to reach commercial operation by January 1, 2027. An additional 400 MW Phase II is under construction with a target completion in 2028. The company operates in the geothermal energy industry.
