GSK reports 76% complete response rate with Jemperli monotherapy in rectal cancer trial

GSK announced positive interim results from the phase II AZUR-1 trial evaluating Jemperli (dostarlimab) as a standalone treatment for stage II and III MSI-H/dMMR locally advanced rectal cancer. In an exploratory analysis, 76% of evaluable patients achieved a complete response to dostarlimab alone, with no disease recurrences reported among responders after a median follow-up exceeding two years. The data supports the drug's recent US approval in this indication and will be presented at the ESMO Congress.
