GSK announced the first global data for its investigational antibody-drug conjugate, risvutatug rezetecan (Ris-Rez), in patients with relapsed extensive-stage small cell lung cancer. Results from the dose-optimization portion of the EMBOLD PanTumour-101 trial showed a confirmed objective response rate of 61% at an 8 mg/kg dose, compared to 32% at 6 mg/kg. The safety profile was manageable, with Grade 3 or higher treatment-related adverse events observed in 42% of patients receiving the higher dose. These findings support the selection of the 8 mg/kg dose for ongoing global phase III trials and build on positive pivotal data previously reported in Chinese patients.
