Globus Maritime adds 64,000-DWT Ultramax carrier to fleet of ten vessels

Globus Maritime Limited announced the delivery of the M/V 'Glbs Olympia,' a 2026-built Ultramax dry bulk carrier with approximately 64,000 DWT carrying capacity. This acquisition expands the company's fleet to ten vessels, bringing total carrying capacity to approximately 744,622 DWT and maintaining a weighted average vessel age of about eight years as of September 14, 2026. The vessel was constructed at Nihon Shipyard Co in Japan and represents the fourth Ultramax newbuilding acquired by the company. Globus Maritime Limited operates an integrated dry bulk shipping business that provides marine transportation services worldwide.
