Golar LNG Limited executed an Engineering, Procurement and Construction agreement with Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Limited for its fourth Floating LNG Production vessel. The project has a total budget of approximately US$2.45 billion and involves the conversion of a secured donor vessel using Golar’s MKII design and Black & Veatch’s PRICO liquefaction technology. Delivery is scheduled for year-end 2029, positioning it as the earliest available FLNG capacity globally. This order increases Golar's controlled liquefaction capacity by approximately 40% to above 12 Million Tons of LNG Per Annum. The company targets a long-term charter contract and has advanced commercial discussions in progress. Golar LNG is a maritime infrastructure company specializing in Floating LNG production units.
