Kardigan appoints Google's Kristin Reinke to board with $650,000 stock option grant

Kardigan, Inc. announced that Doug Giordano resigned from its board of directors and Audit Committee on September 29, 2026, citing no disagreements with management. The company appointed Kristin Reinke as a Class I director effective the same date to fill the vacancy. Ms. Reinke, currently Vice President of Finance at Google LLC and a Certified Public Accountant, will serve as chair of the Audit Committee. In connection with her appointment, she received an initial non-qualified stock option grant valued at $650,000. Kardigan is a clinical-stage precision cardiovascular company developing medicines that target the root cause of diseases where no approved treatments exist.
