Kohl's Corporation announced that Chief Merchandising Officer Nick Jones will depart the company effective October 1, 2026. Ryan M. Waymire has been appointed as the new Chief Merchandising Officer, reporting to CEO Michael J. Bender, with an effective start date of September 28, 2026. Mr. Waymire brings extensive experience from major retailers including Walmart, Amazon, Target, and Wayfair, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Fashion at Walmart U.S. He will oversee the company's overall merchandise strategy, buying, sourcing, and product portfolio. Kohl's operates a leading omnichannel retail chain with over 1,100 stores across 49 states.
