BrasilAgro announced the sale of 1,752.66 arable hectares from its Rio do Meio Farm in Bahia for a present value of R$78.8 million (approximately $15.0 million USD), representing a pre-tax gain of R$51.5 million against a book value of R$27.3 million. The transaction, priced at 425 soybean bags per arable hectare, includes an initial installment already received in the amount of R$21.1 million (24% of total volume), with the remaining balance to be paid in four annual installments totaling 563,312 soybean bags. The company expects to recognize this gain in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026/2027 and also entered into a separate lease agreement for an additional 383.44 arable hectares with a purchase option expiring in March 2028. BrasilAgro operates as an agricultural real estate company, acquiring, developing, and managing farmland assets primarily in Brazil.
