MDA Space Ltd. raised approximately $1.5 billion CAD through a bought-deal public offering of 23 million shares at US$35.60 per share and issued $600 million CAD of 6.5% senior unsecured notes due August 2033 to fund acquisitions. The company also entered into a definitive securities purchase agreement to acquire approximately 70% of Collecte Localisation Satellites (CLS) for roughly €567 million ($920 million CAD). Additionally, MDA Space signed a definitive agreement to acquire Blue Canyon Technologies LLC for $620 million USD and increased its contract with Telesat by $474 million. The company reported Q3 2026 revenues of $498.1 million CAD, up 21.5% year-over-year, driven by higher volumes in Satellite Systems and Geointelligence.
