The Mosaic Company reported a net loss of $273 million, or $0.86 per diluted share, for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared to net income of $411 million in the prior-year period. Adjusted EBITDA was $407 million, down from $566 million a year ago, driven by lower sales volumes and higher raw material costs. The results included $351 million in pre-tax notable items, primarily a $162 million mark-to-market loss on Ma'aden shares and $69 million in non-cash project write-offs. Capital expenditures for 2026 were reduced to $1.2 billion from the previous guidance of $1.25 billion. The company also established a $1 billion term loan to refinance short-term commercial paper maturities and paid a regular common dividend of $0.22 per share in the quarter. Mosaic is a leading producer and marketer of potash and phosphate fertilizers.
