Nasdaq appoints former Ericsson CEO Börje Ekholm to Board; Holden Spaht to resign

Nasdaq, Inc. announced the election of Börje Ekholm as an independent director effective November 1, 2026. Ekholm, who previously served on the board from 2011 to 2016 and chaired it from 2012 to 2016, returns after serving as President and CEO of Ericsson until September 2026. He will serve on the Audit & Risk Committee. Concurrently, director Holden Spaht notified Nasdaq of his resignation effective December 31, 2026, following three years of service that included the integration of Adenza. The company operates as a leading technology platform powering global financial markets and capital formation.
