New Pacific Metals signed Administrative Mining Contracts (AMCs) for its Carangas Silver-Gold Project in Bolivia on August 21, 2026. The AMCs cover approximately 39 km² with a 30-year fixed term and require ratification by the Plurinational Legislative Assembly of Bolivia to finalize mining tenure. Concurrently, the company announced that its 2026 drill program will commence the week of September 8, 2026. The campaign involves approximately 30,000 metres of drilling, including 25,000 metres to upgrade mineral resources in silver and gold zones, with remaining work focused on step-out drilling and testing new targets. This activity supports data collection for a planned feasibility study, including metallurgical test work. New Pacific Metals is a Canadian exploration and development company advancing precious metals projects in Bolivia.
