newcleo plc has inaugurated the FASTER (Fuel process Assembly Storage Training and Enhanced Reality) center, a dedicated non-nuclear engineering and testing facility located in Chusclan, France. The company invested approximately €10 million to establish seven operational test facilities covering key stages of mixed-oxide (MOX) fuel manufacturing, including powder dosing, pellet pressing, and fuel pin assembly. This milestone aims to de-risk newcleo’s advanced MOX fuel program by validating processes ahead of industrial deployment for its lead-cooled fast reactors in France and the United States.
