OGE Energy names John Laws as COO of OG&E effective January 4, 2027

OGE Energy Corp.'s subsidiary, Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company (OG&E), appointed John Laws as Chief Operating Officer, effective January 4, 2027. Mr. Laws, 52, previously served as OG&E's Chief Commercial Officer since January 2026. His prior experience includes serving as Secretary of Budget and State Chief Financial Officer for the State of Oklahoma from October 2022 to December 2024, and Executive Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer of Enable Midstream Partners from January 2016 to December 2021. Compensation details will be determined during the standard annual review in December 2026. OGE Energy Corp. is a utility holding company whose regulated subsidiary provides electric service to approximately 917,000 customers in Oklahoma and western Arkansas.
