Pan American Silver acquires additional 6.25M Galleon Gold shares for C$7M, raising stake to 15.6%

Pan American Silver Corp. completed the acquisition of 6,250,000 common shares of Galleon Gold Corp. at C$1.12 per share through a non-brokered private placement. This transaction brings Pan American's total direct ownership to approximately 15.6% on a non-diluted basis and 27.3% on a partially diluted basis, which includes shares underlying previously held warrants and an unsecured convertible debenture.
