Pebblebrook Hotel Trust announced that Bill Bayless joined its Board of Trustees on October 1, 2026. The board size increased from seven to eight members to accommodate the appointment. Mr. Bayless serves as CEO and Executive Chairman of Maslow’s Campus Communities and brings over 35 years of real estate experience, including involvement in nearly $30 billion in transactions and co-founding American Campus Communities. He received a one-time award of $50,000 in common shares vesting annually over three years and will receive standard trustee fees on a pro-rated basis. Pebblebrook Hotel Trust is a publicly traded real estate investment trust that owns 43 urban and resort lifestyle hotels across the United States.
