Reports Q3 net loss of $3.5M on $17.9M revenue as treatment volumes decline

Perma-Fix Environmental Services reported a third-quarter net loss of approximately $3.5 million, or $0.16 per share, compared to a $1.8 million loss in the prior-year period. Revenue was approximately $17.9 million, up 39% sequentially from the second quarter but slightly above the $17.5 million reported for Q3 2025. The increase was driven by a 46% year-over-year rise in Services Segment revenue to $6.3 million and improved gross margins of 12.2%. However, Treatment Segment revenue fell to $11.6 million from $13.1 million due to lower waste volumes caused by customer-directed protocol changes at the Hanford site that delayed processing until September. The company also reported a treatment backlog of $19.6 million and noted that substantial doubt remains regarding its ability to continue as a going concern despite recent liquidity improvements.
