PLDT appoints PwC Philippines as its new independent external auditor effective Nov. 2

PLDT Inc. has appointed Isla Lipana & Co., the Philippine member firm of the PwC network, as its independent external auditor for financial statements prepared in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), effective November 2, 2026. The firm brings experience across PFRS, IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and PCAOB standards, having previously served as PLDT's principal external auditor from 1999 to 2001 under its former name. PLDT is the Philippines’ largest integrated telecommunications company, offering fixed-line, wireless, and digital services across an extensive fiber optic backbone.
