Purple Biotech appoints Isaac Israel as Interim CEO effective Oct. 5

The Board of Directors appointed Mr. Isaac Israel, a director and former Chief Executive Officer, to serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer effective October 5, 2026, pending the selection of a permanent replacement. Concurrently, outgoing CEO Gil Efron transitions to Executive Director, Head of Corporate Development, while remaining on the Board. Mr. Israel previously led the company from 2012 to 2022 and served as Acting CEO in 2023. Purple Biotech Ltd. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies for cancer and inflammatory diseases.
