Resideo Technologies completed the separation of its ADI Global Distribution business on August 3, 2026, distributing one share of new entity ADIG for every two shares of Resideo common stock held by record holders as of July 20, 2026. ADI is now an independent public company trading on the NYSE under symbol ADIG. In connection with the transaction, Resideo received a $900 million cash dividend from ADI and used these proceeds to fully repay its Initial Term Loans and partially repay its Fourth Amendment Term Loans, reducing total outstanding debt under the Existing Term Loan Facility to approximately $1,422 million. Resideo expects an additional repayment of roughly $200 million by the end of fiscal 2026. Concurrently, executive leadership changed as Jay Geldmacher retired as CEO and Thomas Surran assumed the roles of President, Chief Executive Officer, and Principal Financial Officer. The company operates in the building technologies industry, developing and manufacturing control and sensing solutions for residential markets.
