Regis reports Q1 fiscal 2027 net income of $0.5 million and diluted EPS of $0.18
RGSRegis Corp
Regis Corporation reported first-quarter fiscal 2027 results with consolidated revenue declining to $54.3 million from $59.0 million a year earlier, driven by lower franchise rental income and company-owned salon revenue. Net income fell to $0.5 million, or $0.18 per diluted share, compared to $1.4 million, or $0.49 per diluted share, in the prior-year period. The decline was primarily due to a $2.5 million accrual related to a Department of Justice inquiry into a Paycheck Protection Program loan obtained by Alline before its acquisition. Operating income decreased to $5.3 million from $5.9 million, while adjusted EBITDA dropped slightly to $7.7 million from $8.0 million. The company generated positive cash flow from operations for the eighth consecutive quarter and repaid approximately $7.9 million in debt. Regis Corporation operates a portfolio of franchised and company-owned hair salons under brands including Supercuts, SmartStyle, and Cost Cutters.
