RYAAYRyanair Holdings PLC

Ryanair Holdings PLC has opened a new two-aircraft base in Rimini, Italy, marking a $200 million investment to support its largest-ever schedule from the city during Summer 2027. The expansion delivers over 600,000 low-fare seats, representing a 100% increase compared to Summer 2025, across 17 routes including five new destinations: Dublin, Memmingen, Stockholm, Tirana, and Warsaw. This growth supports more than 500 local jobs and follows the Emilia-Romagna region's decision to abolish its Municipal Tax. The airline reiterated calls for the Italian government to scrap similar taxes nationwide, promising an additional $4 billion investment if implemented. Ryanair Holdings PLC operates as a low-cost carrier providing air transportation services across Europe.
