Ryanair reported a 4% year-over-year increase in September 2026 traffic, carrying over 20.1 million guests compared to 19.4 million in the prior period, while maintaining a load factor of 94%. The airline operated approximately 111,700 flights during the month, though more than 1,000 were cancelled due to UK air traffic control system failures, Belgian strikes, and volcanic activity from Mt. Etna. Year-to-date passenger numbers rose 5% to 215.1 million. Ryanair operates in the low-cost airline industry.
