SK Telecom Co., Ltd. board of directors approved the establishment of a new subsidiary, SK Hyper Co., Ltd., to strengthen its AI data center business. The company will make a total capital contribution of 750,000,000,000 Won to acquire 1,875,000 shares, representing a 100% ownership stake. Of the total amount, 330 billion Won is expected to be contributed in July 2026, initiallly, and the remaining 420 billion Won will be contributed subsequently. SK Telecom Co., Ltd. operates in the telecommunications and AI infrastructure industry.
